Stunning early Victorian, rosewood and mother-of-pearl inlaid ladies sewing box with tray, having inlaid hinged lid which open to reveal original fitted interior top tray that includes pin cushions compartments (some lidded) for sewing equipment behid the padded fabric section on the lid was the original makers sticker Mechi 4 Leadenhall Street London. This box dates to the 1850s and has the original Mother of Pearl Thread bobbins. Time Aged Condition has signs of wear please do study the photos, sadly we don't have a key, there is a split on the veneer to the lid please see photos
